DAY 2 CAIRO (B)
After breakfast Enjoy this full day tour of Cairo and the Pyramids area, visiting also the Egyptian Museum and El Khalili Bazaar. You will be taken to the Pyramids which are the oldest and only surviving members of the ancient wonders. You will also go on a tour of Cairo, considered to be the cradle of civilization and beacon of religion. The largest city in the Middle East and Africa. You will visit the famous Egyptian Museum where you will see the finest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Enjoy then a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest shopping area in Cairo.
DAY 3 CAIRO – ALEXANDRIA – CAIRO (B/L)
After breakfast transfer to Alexandria the second largest city in Egypt, Alexandria, also know as the Pearl of the Mediterranean. Explore this history-steeped city, established by Alexander the Great in 331 BC and once one of the world’s greatest cities. Discover the main attractions of ancient Alexandria including the Roman Theatre and the Catacombs of Kom el Shaqafa. Stroll the ramparts of the 15th-century Qaitbay Citadel.
DAY 4 CAIRO (B/D)
After breakfast the day is free to explore Cairo on your own. Then in the evening we do the Sound & Light show. Enjoy this amazing show in a great atmosphere with the Pyramids in the background. Be impressed by the dazzling light show and awe-inspiring backdrop of the Sphinx and Pyramids. The show begins with the story of The Sphinx who has been the vigilant guardian of the city of the dead for five thousand years. The show depicts the story of building the pyramids of Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafre), Mycerinos (Menkaure) and relates the history of great and famous figures of ancient Egypt.
DAY 5 CAIRO – ASWAN (B/D)
After early breakfast transfer to Cairo International airport to board your flight to Aswan. On arrival check in at Movenpick Resort Aswan .Then in the evening get a true taste for life in Aswan by sharing an authentic Nubian meal with a local family . Visit a Nubian family in their home and experience some traditional hospitality. Learn about their lives and culture, and about the different Nubian tribes living around Elephantine Island. Take a stroll around Elephantine Island before settling in for a shared meal with a local family.
DAY 6 ASWAN – ABU SIMBEL – ASWAN (B)
After breakfast transfer to Aswan airport to board your flight to Abu Simbel. On arrival visit the famous temples of Ramses II and his favorite wife Nefertari. Marvel at the millennia-old monuments. The Abu Simbel temples are two massive rock temples in Abu Simbel in Nubia, southern Egypt. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “Nubian Monuments,” which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae (near Aswan). Learn the stories behind Abu Simbel’s detailed bas-reliefs and hieroglyphs, take in the unusual dedications to Queen Nefertari then slip inside her own exquisite temple.
DAY 7 ASWAN (B/L/D)
After breakfast transfer to M.S.Mayfair. Embarkation before lunch. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, sailing by Felucca & view of Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight at Aswan.
DAY 8 ASWAN – KOM OMBO – EDFU (B/L/D)
Sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by two Gods Sobek & Haroeris. Sailing to Edfu. Upon arrival time in Edfu, visit the temple of Horus.
DAY 9 ESNA – LUXOR (B/L/D)
Sailing to Luxor passing through the Esna Lock. Upon arrival time in Luxor visit Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor.
DAY 10 LUXOR – HURGHADA(B/D)
Disembarkation after breakfast. Cross the West Bank to visit Thebes Necropolis, Valley of the Kings, El Deir El Bahari of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon facing the Nile. Then in the afternoon transfer to Hurghada and check in at Hilton Hurghada Resort.
DAY 11 HURGHADA (B/D)
After breakfast board the glass bottom boat .Wonder at the undersea life of the Red Sea without getting wet on a 2-hour glass-bottom boat trip. Cruise along the Hurghada coast and enjoy great views of the underwater landscapes and marine life through the large glass viewing panels at your feet.
DAY 12 HURGHADA (B/D)
After breakfast we drive between the mountains of Hurghada to the Bedouin Village for a tour to discover their life and traditions. Ride a camel through the sand, then enjoy an open air barbecue dinner while watching the sun set over the Sahara Desert.
DAY 13 – HURGHADA (B/D)
After breakfast, the day is free at leisure. Relax in your hotel, take a stroll on the beach or enjoy the many water sports.
